One of the most prolific American storytellers of all time, Garrison Keillor is a writer and humorist best known for his popular live radio variety show, A Prairie Home Companion, which attracts more than 4 million listeners on over 600 public radio stations each week
Keillor is also a best-selling author of many books, including Lake Wobegon Days, Love Me and Homegrown Democrat. True to his radio form, Garrison Keillor shares hilarious anecdotes about growing up in the American Midwest, the people of Lake Wobegon and “late-life fatherhood.” With a wonderful, dry sense of humor, he captivates audiences and delivers with class, charisma and wisdom and remains one of the most popular American storytellers of all time.
We’ve been fortunate to host Garrison Keillor at Miller Auditorium several times over the years and are happy to have him here again on our stage on April 27. Keillor has announced his upcoming retirement from A Prairie Home Companion, so you don’t want to miss this chance to see him live in Kalamazoo! Tickets are available now.
